ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT TILL 2005.

My goodness this year has just flown by for me. I can't believe how quickly this year has flown;i only hope next year slows down a bit. I know i have been busy this year, however i just can't seem to remember all the things i have achieved both personally and professionally. I generally try to stay close to home NYE, too many drunks on the road, combined with a city of a population of 150,000 who claims its starved of decent entertainment; emerges from its homes in the early hours of NYE to claim the best position for fireworks on one of our many beaches, the best nautical position on water, the best seating position at the Entertainment Centre and the best car park in the city. Then at 2am NYD, everyone leaves the venue they were at, for that looooooooooooong journey home. No thanks, not for me. I'd rather wander down to my beach, a picnic in hand...few bottles of red.....some music and a pair of binoculars to watch the fireworks. True i wouldn't be on my own, but 50 or so residents is much better than 150,000! Plus, in 2 mins i am safe at home.

HAPPINESS TO ALL IN 2005

*MAKE YOUR MIND UP TO BE HAPPY. LEARN TO FIND PLEASURE IN SIMPLE THINGS.

*MAKE THE BEST OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES,UNLESS OF COURSE YOU KNOW THINGS MUST CHANGE FOR YOUR CONTINUED HAPPINESS. THE TRICK IS TO MAKE THE LAUGHTER OUTWEIGH YOUR TEARS.

*DON'T LET CRITICISM WORRY YOU, YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE.

*DO THE THINGS YOU ENJOY DOING, JUST DON'T GO INTO DEBT IN THE PROCESS.

*DO WHAT YOU CAN FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE THAN YOURSELF.

*HAVE MANY INTERESTS. IF YOU CAN'T TRAVEL THEN LEARN AND READ ABOUT THOSE PLACES.

*DON'T LET OTHERS SET YOUR STANDARDS. BE YOURSELF.

*DON'T HOLD GRUDGES,HATRED POISONS THE SOUL.

*REMEMBER,IMAGINARY THINGS ARE HARDER TO BEAR THAN THE ACTUAL ONES.

*DON'T BE THE ONE WHO NEVER GETS OVER THINGS.

*DON'T THINK THAT SOMEHOW YOU SHOULD BE PROTECTED BY THOSE MISFORTUNES THAT BEFALL OTHERS.

*KEEP BUSY AT SOMETHING. A VERY BUSY PERSON DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME TO BE UNHAPPY.

GOOD LUCK AD GOOD FORTUNE TO ALL IN 2005.

Fixing my link to your blog is high on my list of resolutions this year. As God as my witness, I will get that done.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop on the happenings in your part of the world. I wish much success for you in the coming year, but I will be upset if your fame and fortune keeps you from blogging.
