I had the tv on last night and i was wandering in and out of the room doing stuff, i thought i had it on the news.....and i still don't know, when this story came on. Someone or some political or some thing is kicking up a stink ( and i believe rightly so) because a Texas company has introduced a new computer game on line. Now you need to forgive me here because in my shocked, jaw hanging to the ground persona, i could not believe what i was hearing and therefore i don't know if i got the name correct. "One Shot" is what i thought i heard it called. It's a website that enables you with a click of your mouse to KILL sheep...antelope...deer and other animals ( only the legal ones) right from your own home. Whether it be here in OZ...Gem in Scotland....Jack in Conneticut. Then, you can have it all packaged and shipped to your home ready for the dinner table!!! So, you log on, you see the animals moving around grazing in the woods ( all done by camera at their end ) on your computer........you have a scope........you move your mouse over the critter...CLICK!!! and its dead......or if ya like me you may need a few clicks! Of course this costs money and how much i still am yet to find out. I still have a hard time coming to terms with this. I have been trying to find it on here...using dogpile but as yet been un successful.
I hate to say this as its sooooo cliche..."only in America" could this occur. If someone invented this here in Oz.....it wouldn't even get passed the patent office.
