GREAT WAY TO START THE WEEK...................
RECEIVED A PHONECALL TODAY FROM THE MOTHER OF A CLIENT OF MINE. SHE CALLED TO LET ME KNOW (AS SHE DOES ON MANY OCCAISIONS) THAT HER BOY HAD GOT A MESSAGE THAT SHE'D BEEN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL WITH A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK. "ITS THE DEFENDANT PLAYING NASTY TRICKS ON US AGAIN" SHE SAID. YOU SEE, THIS WOMAN HAS IT IN HER HEAD THAT THE DEFENDANT IS THE CAUSE OF ALL THE "BIZZARE" GOINGS ON IN THEIR LIFE SUCH AS....PEOPLE STALKING THEM, STRANGE PHONE CALLS, THE BOY CONSTANTLY FINDING HIMSELF IN TROUBLE ETC.
IF YOU RECALL LAST WEEK I SAID SHE SPOTTED ME IN A SHOPPING COMPLEX AND FOLLOWED ME ROUND FOR THE NEXT 2 HRS WHILST I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO. TODAY SHE ASKED............"DID YOU MANAGE TO GET ALL YOUR THINGS DONE LAST WEEK WHEN I SAW YOU"? OMG I WAS THINKING.................."YES I DID THANKS "L". HER REPLY................................"YOU KNOW, I HAVE SO MUCH ADMIRATION FOR YOU MICHELLE, I USED TO THINK I WAS PRETTY UGLY............WHEN I FIRST LAYED EYES ON YOU, I THOUGHT.........MAN SHE'S THE UGLIEST PERSON I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE". I AM TOTALLY MORTIFIED AT THIS TIME. " YOU ARE SO GAME ACTUALLY COMING OUT OF YOUR HOUSE AND GOING SHOPPING LOOKING THE WAY YOU DO......YOUR AMAZING, I ADMIRE YOU SO MUCH". I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM HEARING..........MY EGO IS ROLLING OUT THE DOOR AND DOWN THE ROAD........MY HEART IN MY SHOES. HELL I KNOW I AINT NO OIL PAINTING......NO ELLE.......NO MODEL MATERIAL.........JUST AN AVERAGE LOOKING GAL, BUT UGLY???? SUCH A STRONG WORD. AND TO SAY I WAS GAME TO VENTURE OUT INTO THE WORLD WITH MY LOOKS....HOLY CRAP.....I MUST LOOK LIKE THE ELEPHANT MAN!!!
NOW, IF THIS HAD HAPPENED TO A FRIEND MY ADVICE WOULD BE......OMG...THIS WOMAN IS A FRUITCAKE...TAKE NO NOTICE, SHE'S GOT A DISTORTED VIEW OF THE WORLD ETC ETC. BUT WHE IT HAPPENS TO YOU......ITS DIFFERENT AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE...IT WASN'T SAID WITH MALICE........SHE WAS FAIR DINKUM........STRAP HER TO A LIE DETECTOR.......SHE PASS IT!!!!!

FFS! Lol..........sorry my first feeling was of absolute amazement the second was to laugh! Come on girl, your line of work ain't exactly renowned for it's fill of the level headed among us and doubtless this lady also has 15 alter ego's or some such or at least visual hallucinations! You and I know the deal here, forget it, the lady IS a fruit cake to use a less than professional or politically correct term! heh. Shall we have a go at the diagnosis??

LOL, i know your right Gem. I too was gobsmacked that someone would actually say that to another human being, but more so that i have been dealing with her and her son for nearly 2 years.And what you said, is infact what i would say to someone who had had this happen to, but when it actually happens to YOU...LOL. Infact after this boy's committal hearing last year i even helped him to the loo's ( john for jack and magz ) as he was going to throw up. I have been nothing but helpful and kind to these ungrateful SOB's.......and for her to say that and to actually think its ok...omg..lol. I told my boss about it since he was the one who kindly gave me this case to begin with, after he finally composed himself from the laughter has suggested i be taken off this case. I said no as it will be over by the end of January, so i will wait and see what he decides!
I know it must be different if it actually happens to you...........I think I would be as gobsmacked as you where......I am tho still right, she is a f*****g nutcase! Some kind of psychosis there methinks....no concience or abilty to rationalise.
