Just sitting here thinking about different bits and pieces. You know, i really am studying, i am, its true, i know it doesn't look like it. Ok well i have been, satisfied. I hate this time of year, for some reason my exams just become a drag. Perhaps its because i know i will get 3 months off from study and have a list as long as the chinese phone book to do in that 3 months. Mind you, i still have to work. I wish i was like my friend Gemmak, a few days a week would be great..*sigh*..oh well, i do enjoy it, although sometimes the personalities get to me. It's not really the criminal side of things that i find draining. It's the actual people's personalities. I find it very frustrating...not so much the kids i deal with but their parents. Shows society is just failing when it comes to these poor souls. I can't go on about it just frustrates the crap out of me, every family is the same. I can hold 20 different case files in my hand and all bar one, the family has failed. Ok enough.

Before i put my head into my study notes i took a wander round in my garden. Its hot outside, the kind of heat and humidity where you know rain is coming......but when???The water in the pool is even warm...so much for the shade wing over it. The neighbors cat is sprawled under the hibiscus and his fur is blowing in the breeze.......i wished it was me! Yes it is wonderful living in the tropics and yes its just like all the travel brochures depict......barrier reef right on my doorstep, palm trees swaying, parrots chattering, mango trees in full bloom, hibiscus and orchids in bloom, the sea crashing on the shore AND....the humidity and heat. This spoils it all! The feeling of your bod not being dry once out of the shower even though you dried yourself a million times, after putting on my makeup and the time it takes to jump in the car, to see it all running down my face,forced to keep water up to the garden because you know everything will be dead in 24hrs if you don't, and waking up of morning with your throat and nose as dry as the bloody desert because of the air conditioning.................yes i love Tropical North Queensland where its 32c all summer and spring.
