Everyone can do something better than i can.

It's true. Everyone i look at, has a skill that i can only yearn for. I have one of my very best friends who is brilliant at making birthday cards..i'm talking intricate details..they are like nothing i have ever seen before. A fellow collegue has just finished making a quilt for her grandchild......again just magnificent. One of my nephews is just so talented when it comes to computers, he builds them, knows how to operate every operating system known to man...been offered scholarships in IT worth thousands...his not even 18 years old! I have another nephew who is the biggest scam artist i know..sshhh i better forget i said that.
My daughter, has so much confidence at her age.....much much better than i EVER was at 9.
I have someone who is very close to me who can memorize card hands, so much so that they have been banned from a casino or two!
I have a friend who is a pathologist...ask her anything about blood....she has the answer. I have a friend who takes brilliant photos....in B/W..had them displayed in galleries...amazing.
It amazes me to see people with little or no education who are just masters at "something".

Follow your bliss has always been the saying that works for me. I happily find myself "good" at things I enjoy and do often. Getting to that point, I've often "sucked" at these things for quite a while before becoming "good" at them.

I don't know if you realize it, but I think you're a great blogger.

Bryan, i think you speak words of wisdom. I agree, the things we enjoy are usually the things we excel in.
Thank you so much for your kind words..i think you are the master!

I agree w/ following your bliss, but I want to add this: Try new experiences, even if you think you won't be "good" at them. That enriches life besides working in those areas that bring you instant happiness. To me, it is the only way to truly *live*. You'll be surprised at how much enjoyment you'll find from "taking the risk"; sometimes, you'll excel, but more importantly, you'll have tasted another dish on the palette of life. Oops, I'm writing like an artist. :) BTW, it's sweet of you to compliment your friends & family, Michelle, but I, too think you're a super blogger, plus I bet you have hidden talents that you don't recognize or are too modest to share.
