Weekend Over

Don't let that sky fool you, it's still a cold ol hole here.
My weekend has come to an end. "A" and i spent time baking today, something she really enjoyed. For me it's something i rarely have time to do these days. Infact whilst scrounging through my cupboards collecting up various containers and baking trays, i started to think back to when the last time it was that i really spent a day just cooking for the fun of it. It must be 12 years at least. Life is just so busy these days, and i just don't have time especially since i am obsessive about my house and garden, and the pair of them have also been neglected over the last few weeks due to work and uni. It would be so much easier if there was 30 hrs in the day.
I taught "A" how to do cross stitching. I am very surprised at how quick she's picked it all up and the patience she's showing. I have so many on the go at the moment, and not touched them for a while, but i will as i find it very relaxing.
