Rain....Hooray!

Rain, it's wonderful here at the moment. It's been raining for 2 days now, 2 inches of rain infact, its heaven!
I promised myself i would take this week of work, infact i have....sort of. I'm just working at my own pace....when i fancy. By doing so, i am able to catch up on much needed housework and since the sky has decided to open up, the garden is looking mighty good. I have a large variety of orchids and i intend on splitting a few.
Today i had an appointment with my hairdresser. I love Kirsty, she makes me laugh, her life is like a soap opera, she never fails to offer up some piece of it for advice :)
Whilst driving to the hairdresser in the rain, i was looking at the state of our roads here. My goodness, we must have the worst roads and highways in OZ. It pisses me off ......when it rains, giant chunks of road break away leaving potholes. The same potholes appear every bloody year. I know where every single one is..........even when filled with bitchumen (asphalt for americans!). Now, considering the same ones keep appearing, you'd think the council in its infinate wisdom, would re surface the road. Nooooooooooooooooo, lets just fill the freakin hole in till next time it rains! Why? WHY?
Speaking of why. Today i had a matter referred to me. Frustrating as hell. A 54 yold man decided to give himself in to the police. He exposed himself in front of a 10 yold girl. The man has never ever held a criminal record. This is his first offence, and he gave himself up........he was very upset according to colleagues. Great.........Why WHY???
