*Urgh*.....what a day i have had. I have had a few days that have been quite stressful in regards to trials occuring this month and next, with judges trying to clear a backlog of matters before the xmas break. Not that court shuts down for any length of time, it certainly doesn't but they don't want to be carrying too many over to next year, specially if some are already 12 months in waiting to get to trial from indictment/committal.
So ..great now my font is packing up on me...lol...who cares i shall soldier on.
Anyhow, i have had to make a zillion calls to my clients informing them of up and coming trials. Most are glad to have the trials over with before xmas so they can chill and try to get back to a "normal" life. So....i have been busy with that, also stressing over my exams at the end of this month. I am trying to do well in this subject as its probably the only one i have a chance at really getting perfect mark for. So in between work....study.....i have a life....not much of one but none the less it is one.
Its been so hot and humid here and combined with the above it has given me a migrane. I suspected it was coming...tell tale signs and all, still i chose to ignore. I went to bed last night with the ceiling fan on and turned off the airconditioning as its been giving me sinus probs and killing my body....cold air blowing over my muscles. Anyway i had a restless sleep as i was still hot. i woke at 3am to rain....yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeee rain. I got up to close doors down stairs incase the rain came through the screens, did the usual loo stop (john for my american friends) and back to bed.
When i got up at 6 i fely groggy and had my first coffee....watched the news...kissed "A" good morning and turned the puter on. Then my head started......damn migrane. I was in a rush to hang out the wash.....get "A" brekky.....quickly tidy up the place and yell at "A" to hurry up for school, i had no time for brekky for me...just water. My head getting worse, i knew i had to go into town to visit some clients......take some overdue dvds back........and run a few errands.
I drop off "A" at school........my mobile starts........i thought.....f*&*......its going to be one of those days. I need to be home with pills and a heat pak and a coffee and food...but nooooooooooooooooooooo. So i do what i have to do, then i ran into the local shopping mall thinking i'd make enchilladas for dinner tonight and pick up some meat. Then i would be home just on 12, i could lie down for 2 hrs before getting "A" from school, then catch up on some paper work for work. I walk in the mall, and omg.....i see the mother of a client i have. This woman calls me at home on weekends.....during the week......all hours. She decides to follow me into every shop i go into.......se won't leave.........she even waited whilst i ordered a fancy cup of coffee from Starbucks. I bet she'd have followed me into some change rooms if i decided to try on clothes!!!! The only time she left was when i finally went to my car....eve then i thought she was going to ask for a lift home. And my head was pounding.......i quickly ate a cookie and took some pills....and then drove like a bat outa hell home!!!
So now a few hours later...i feel a little better.....migrane still there however i will take some more pills after dinner.
I can't wait for this woman's son's trial to be over. My boss is having a cow that she's calling me at home, so are the cops.....everyone is telling me to cut her short.....tell her to "F" off, they say..............i can't, i know she's lonely and i don't think she's all there. I know she isn't. I just have to hope that they leave me alone when the trial is over. Thankgod they don't live near me :o)
