BASTARDS

I can't believe that petrol/gas is going up in price yet again. Currently, i am paying $1 per litre....4 litres = 1 gallon. They predict the prices over easter holidays will rise again. Court is 32kms from my house, admittedly i am not required every day, but when i am in full trial....imagine my fuel costs.

Ouch! Your costs are so much more than ours. I thought $2/gallon was awful (& began walking more.) BTW, I love the word "petrol" and that you defined it for those who don't realize it's short for petroleum. (I love the sound of petrol; so much more dignified than er, gas.... hehehe- pardon me- am in a strange mood. Waited forever for blogger to unclog; wish it would fart and clear the air for blogging! )

I think the going rate at present is about 2 Australian dollars to the pound. If so, you are currently paying about half of what we pay over here! If it were not for the fact that there are poisonous spiders in Oz, I might be tempted to emigrate!! :)

Geeez even i had to wait for it to load on my own blog!

GEL~ I know its insane the prices, but if you look at poor Jen below...the UK are paying double Australian prices.
LOL..we have to call it petrol otherwise how would we distinguish it from "gas"..ie cooking, heating and LPG gas for cars :)

Jenny~ Cmon...its worth it just for the aussie wines you know!!
Indeed, blogger is being a pain :(

Try 81p a litre over here in the UK, I think that translates to about $2 in your money? Everything's a complete rip-off over here in the UK and we have crap weather too.

Tina, how dreadful. I don't know how people can afford to have cars at that price. Perhaps things in the UK are very close together and the distance is not as great as it is here in OZ. Still, its just insane the prices we all pay.

Tina thanks for visiting :)
