Am i that bad?

Greetings people. I have tons of thing s i could post and talk about however i am pissed off and ready to belt a particular person in the mouth, i am a week behind in my Uni paper already and its only the second week LOL. So after i cook dinner i am off to do some writing.
Today i was abused verbally on my Universities website. The post is still there, and i am waiting to see if it gets removed by the administrators.
So, how did it come about? Well, this year there appears to be a large intake of first year students. Many of who are either unaware or just don't care about the posting of messages on the Uni's forum. The forum is specifically for asking and giving advice on particular subjects, answered by students and advisers. There is also a section for buying and selling uni books. Lately, there has been a few people posting SPAM on there, links to websites that have no relation to Uni. Also, some have been posting personal messages on there and what happens is that every man and his dog reply, making the thread difficult to load. Well a few of us asked if people would cut it out. One guy said i was "totally apathetic to poverty" LOL, said " i wouldn't know what it was like to have nothing, how horrible i was for not caring" all of this, from me telling him to stop posting SPAM!! I defended myself, explaining what i did for a living and how on earth could he possibly get that type of info from just one post.
Today, i received one from a nasty piece of work, a different guy, saying i was "self indulgent, self rightueous, rude, loud mouth,pathetic snob", then suggested i leave. What a way to deflate my ego!
