RIVKIN'S APPEAL FOR FRIDAY

Rene Rivkin is due to face his weekend detention stints this weekend, punishment for insider trading of Quantas shares. It remains to be seen if another illness will prevent him from serving his time OR a parole board appeal will be successful.

You know what, as much as people bagged Alan Bond, at least this guy served his jail time. Entreupaneurs like Skase, fled the country to live the life of luxury. As far as Rene goes, well stay tuned for Friday's outcome.
