PASSION, RESURRECT A CHILDHOOD DREAM, LET YOUR PASSION TAKE FLIGHT.

The federal government is moving to strip disgraced former federal MP Andrew Theophanous of his superannuation benefits.
Theophanous was in the Victorian County Court today with his wife where notice of the application was put to Judge Graeme Crossley.
During the short mention hearing, Theophanous' lawyer Stephen Shireffs said the one-time parliamentary secretary in the Keating government was alerted to the action earlier this month.
Mr Shireffs told the court the application to deny Theophanous his superannuation was made by the Department of Justice and Customs under the Crimes Superannuation Benefits Act.
Lawyers for Theophanous and for the government had agreed to have the matter adjourned to allow the former MP to make a submission on the application, the court heard.
In June 2002, Theophanous was jailed for six years and ordered to serve a minimum of three and a half years after he was found guilty of offences relating to an abuse of his powers for cash.
He was released from jail in February this year.
He also faces new charges relating to immigration matters and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.

Outside the court Theophanous refused to comment on this latest action.
"We have no comment today," he said.
"But we may have some comment after the events of tomorrow."
Judge Crossley adjourned today's matter to a later date.
