Easter Fun!

Ok people, just as an Easter treat for you all, i thought i'd pinch a cool game off "4 non blogs", with a few of my own adjustments!
Below you will find a sentence from a song, and you my dear blog friends must guess what song! No cheating...I WILL KNOW! :) Bookfraud, as much as i would have liked to include "Convoy", it was rather difficult as the word Convoy is in every line!

GOOD LUCK ALL, AND HAPPY EASTER!!

1. "get your hands off my tomato"

2. "i belong in the service of the queen"

3. "to some its the strength to be apart"

4. "i could be innocent or i could be guilty"

5. "her memory is all that's left for you now"

6. "we're beaten and blown by the wind"

7. "must i always be alone"

8. "i'm gonna leave tonight before i change my mind"

9. "she turned into a head of lettuce"

10. "life's just be, lifes just begun"

11. "she dances while his father plays guitar"

12. "and it feels so much lighter since i met you"

Play nice all...no fighting!

I would provide you with all of the answers but since you said you would know if I cheated... Now everyone else can have a try at winning but if they don't answer soon, I'm spilling. ;)

you have me stumped, except for #9, which is from the ramones' "Every Time I Eat Vegetables, It Makes Me Think of You."

"must i always be alone," is from the police, I believe, but probably from some other tunes as well. i think another is from sonic youth, but not sure. you sure are tough.

i wouldn't expect convoy, but i would like something from one of the worst songs of all time, "Disco Duck."

Enjoy your holiday.

Thanks for the good wishes, Michelle--a very happy Easter to you, as well!

Sorry--I don't know any of the songs. I may have to retaliate with some lines of my own. :-0

Mom says, "WTF are these songs? Michelle must have made 'em up or they are rap crap...", but I'm not supposed to ask her WTF means, altho I'm 18, so I have to defend her. She (usually) doesn't use that expression or the F word in real life, so uh, she gave some funny answers but made me swear not to type them. I'm off duty now, so bye.... (Belle)

3. "Speaking simply for me, we both could have died then and there."

4. "How was I to know she was with the Russians too?"

5. "You're invisible now; you got no secrets to reveal."

6. "We gotta make a decision: leave tonight or let it die this way."

7. "I'm walking down that long lonesome road, Babe--where I'm bound, I can't tell."

8. "And the lights of L.A. county looked like diamonds in the sky."

9. "Every smile you fake, every claim you stake . . . "

10. "I'm not saying I'm replacing 'love' with some other word."
