I don't like Mondays!

So, how was your weekend? Can you believe we're nearly 2 thirds of the way through the year already? Before i forget, Magz drew to my attention the new Blogger additions on the top of our banners. Are they trying to censor what we say? I thought the beauty of Blogging was a way to let loose without being censored? And to think, i'm supposed to live in a democratic country pppffft, my foot! And, if you don't mind......lookie, i can do links now! Thanks Madi, your code works a treat!
Did i mention i got a distinction on my latest Uni paper? I did! And to think, i told my current professor i thought it was the worst paper i have ever written! Heh, maybe she took pity on me :)
My weekend was hectic as always. Although i did have my princess home. "A" was due to go on her first school camp on Friday night, however for some reason that i'm still not quite aware of, the teachers pulled the pin and decided to put it off till October. "A" was disappointed, understandably, her first weekend away.....freedom,kids her own age (well kinda, she's 10 in Dec, and some of the kids on camp are 11 and 12 already!) and basically just a change of scenery!
Whilst moi her mother, puts the brave face on, smiles and waves her off, jumps back into the car and bawls her eyes out! No baby for a whole weekend :( She did tell me i could use her playstation and her favorite bed time cuddly toy "Gloria" from Madagascar! Soooooo, i will keep that in mind for October!
We did venture out to a wonderful italian restaurant for dinner last night, "A" ate everything on her plate, i was suitably impressed....me, well i just eat everything anyhow!!! I did have a drink with an umbrella in it, unfortunately i couldn't have anymore than one! To think, it was happy hour too :(
Ah well, another working week.................
