The Straw that Breaks You

It's so true when they (whoever they are) "the straw that broke the camels back". That straw is usually something minor compared to the actual build up that breaks you. That's kind of what happened to me today.
You know, i've been in my current job for 4 years now. I have always found it funny the fact that i'm endevouring to put "baddies" away for harming children, yet i have never had any fall out from "that side" of the fence. It's always my clients (kids) parents.....and some of the older kids say 16 or 17, i have the "issues" with.
In 4 years, i've been told to "f*** off" by one mother, told i was "to be admired because women as ugly as me, don't normally show their faces", nearly king hit by a clients father because he said i promised that the baddie would get a long jail term (thank god for security), shared a court room with a rat....and the rat wasn't the baddie!!, had my feet attacked by chickens, been phoned at home by my clients parents whom at the time were in witness protection as they were witnesses to a young mans horrific murder (man did that frighten the shit outta me), forced to sit on the steps of a clients home to conduct an interview as she thought i was evil and would bring bad karma into her home!, i've been barked at and jumped on by dogs, been told by a mother her kid better be finished giving evidence by lunchtime otherwise she was coming in and dragging her out, made to do the hokey pokey by 2 little sisters that were my clients, and finally, had a baddie miss a plane,had the same baddie catch the next plane but do a runner out of a cab on route to the courthouse! Instead, i had the cab driver turn up to court LOL! Thankgod for bench warrants! So my friends, this is just a small sample of incedents, i have dealt with.....and yes, there's more...maybe another day. So, if we double those, add a few more, you can understand why when the father of a client that's just been referred to me in the last 3 days, leaves a message on my phone saying i am incompetant, and a difficult woman to reach, (the trial isnt till September) i lost the plot!!
So i say to all those who need assisstance, please mind your manners, i'm human, i have other clients, only 24 hours in a day, i will get to you...sorry if it's not within the first 24 hours.

The photo is of one of the islands within a few hours drive of my place, and yes indeed, it really does look like that!! Now you know why the only stars i want to see are 5!!
