Unbelievable!!

You know, there are many things in this world that make me want to run out into the middle of my street and scream. The insanity of some decisions, issues etc, just cause me to show my moral outrage and the following is another ridiculous case that causes me to do just that!

In our nations capital (Canberra), a 16 yold student has just been granted a number of cigarette breaks throughout her classes. The Year 10 students doctor has informed the school that she is addicted to nicotine and becomes very stressed if she is unable to indulge in a wee ciggy every hour or so!!

UN fucking believeable is my response. For a start, smoking is illegal in Canberra till you are 18. Businesses are fined thousands for selling cigarettes to minors.

Engratiating a child...to let them have their own way is one thing, but this is pure insanity. All because the pumpkin gets stressed and if she can't have a smoke then she's threatend to leave school.

Well honey, if you were mine, i'd say leave....sod off!! Screw your education, smoking is far more important, i mean really, we wouldn't want you to be stressed..................*rolling my eyes*
One would think the school would assist the kid in kicking the habit, not supporting it.

And for the record, yes, i am a reformed smoker ( of 13 years )!!
