Now for some positive news. It came as a wonderful surprise to me and those who spend their days measuring and dealing with crime and as a parent of an 8 yold who gives the impression she is full of confidence, but you sometimes wonder.
Two girls aged 8 and 9 were waiting at a local bustop for the school bus when a "weasel" pulled up and hung a $20 note out the window and offered it to the girls.
Thankfully, these girls had parents who had obviously drilled into them the importance of "stranger danger".............both ran screaming off into the distance and into the nearest police station. The police now have a full description of the "weasel and the car"...............won't be long before he'll be having a little chat with the law.
