Literary Fest!

Iam here folks. I had every intention of posting yesterday, however it got quite late and i just can't think to write after 8.30pm! Call me lazy if you will, indeed i am but many of you know how difficult it is just having a life and then knowing you've not "blogged" yet as you watch "LOST" really pales into significance!
I am going to cheat today however, Lisa saved my arse the other day with the music meme, and Gem is saving my arse today with this one. I will however be posting at some stage tommorrow on the "Death Penalty". Australia outlawed the death penalty in 1963, opting for life sentences and in severe circumstances "never to be released". Think about it guys, do you agree with it? I know some States in the States still carry it and use it. I also am aware that it can take absolute years before one even gets off death row. Let me know your opinions after i post tomorrow. For now, here is my "LIT FEST"!

2. The last book I bought.
Liar's Club, Mary Kerr.........recommended by a reader on here, its on its way from America!

3. The Last Book I read.
LOL, i am so bad, i read like 10 books at a time.......ummmm, "Are we Hardwired"

4. 5 books that mean something to me.

1. To Kill a Mockingbird............my first ever "adultbook" i read at 12ysold.

2. Riding the Bus With My Sister..............my sister in law bought me this book, its wonderful.

3. The Good the Bad and The Inevitable..............by a retired childrens court magistrate here in Australia. She portrays her experiences of dealing with abused kids and their families.

4. & 5...................these could lead into all the other books i have read in my life. For me its way too difficult to choose, i love and adore so many. The same can be said for all my academic books, i have learned a great deal and they all get used as resources.

Now, i am supposed to pass this on to 5 others, however i know many are pissed of with the memem's so instead if you feel inclined just add some comments about your favorite book!
