G'day Little Johnny!
Afew days ago,
Cathy had a post on the worlds happiest countries. I was rather surprised to see New Zealand ranked at 18, and even more surprised to see Australia ranked 26, 3 behind the United States. Don't get me wrong, i don't think Americans are miserable, i do think Australians are basically happy, compared to many many countries in the actual report. I would have placed a bet that Australia would have been ranked "happier" than Americans. We are so laid back, infact sometimes probably too laid back!! It's in our nature to take it easy, relax and our "she'll be right mate" attitude, is what we're reknown for. Even our Prime Minister was in a laid back mode and had a huge grin on his face upon arrriving at small country school, only to be greeted with a chorus of 8 year olds and "Hey little Johnny Howard how are ya"?? "Hey everyone, its Little Johnny"!! "Little Johnny's here"!!
Now tell me, how many American 8 yolds would greet the President with "Hey, its Georgie Bush", Georgie Bush is here"!! Too right we're happy either that, or just plain rude!! ;o)
till next time, Michelle.
